March Toothache Madness

March is here, and a lot of basketball-crazy fans can only think of one thing: March Madness. The prestigious national tournament where 68 teams of collegiate ballers duke it out, in hopes of being crowned as the country’s best, is one of the most watched tournaments in the United States.

Part of the March Madness tradition is good food. Guacamole, chili, and burgers are some of the most popular meals b-ball fans dig into when their favorite teams are winning the ball game. However, if you feel one of your teeth aching every time you take a bite, it’s time to visit a dentist and have your teeth checked.
One possible reason why your tooth is aching could be tooth decay. Tooth decay does not usually show signs of trouble, and patients usually only become aware of the problem when cavities have already developed.
There are measures people can take in order to reduce the chances of further cavity development. Reducing consumption of food with sugar content and brushing with a good fluoride toothpaste helps prevent any development, but it is also important to consult with a professional dentist.
Not only do these dentists know how to cure your tooth problems, but they can also provide more specific advice that will help you enjoy your food as your favorite team plays its way to victory.
